Who we are
SOOF provides operations software for trade businesses. For privacy questions, contact hello@soof.co.
Information you provide
If you request beta access, we collect your name, work email address, phone number and company name so we can respond to your request. We do not sell this information.
Optional website analytics
With your consent, our first-party analytics record page views and flow, landing page, referring site, UTM campaign parameters, CTA and sign-in link clicks, beta-form conversion, session and pseudonymous visitor identifiers, timestamp, broad device/browser class, screen class, and country/region when supplied by our hosting provider. We do not deliberately collect precise location, advertising identifiers, form contents, passwords or sensitive operational data for marketing analytics.
Account sign-in records
When an authorised user successfully signs in, SOOF records the timestamp, account identifier, app or admin surface, broad device/browser class, and country/region where supplied by our hosting provider. If the user accepted website analytics and followed a SOOF sign-in link, pseudonymous visitor and session identifiers may connect that sign-in to the marketing journey. Failed passwords and password contents are never stored in analytics.
Why and how long
We use beta-request details to take steps at your request and pursue our legitimate interest in managing beta access. We use optional website analytics only with consent. We keep limited successful sign-in records for our legitimate interests in security and service operation. Retention should be reviewed regularly and configured to the shortest useful period; beta enquiries are retained only while relevant to the request and business relationship.
Cookies and similar storage
Essential storage supports site security and form delivery. Optional browser storage creates pseudonymous visitor and session identifiers only after you accept analytics. You may decline without losing access to the site or change your choice at any time using Privacy settings in the website footer. Withdrawing removes the optional identifiers from that browser.
Sharing and international transfers
Data is processed by service providers needed to run SOOF, including hosting and database infrastructure. We require appropriate safeguards where information is processed outside the UK.
Your rights
UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Security and changes
We use proportionate technical and organisational controls and avoid collecting data we do not need. We may update this policy as SOOF develops; the date above shows the latest revision.
